The Go Play Park is a design with a circular essence and a Round the World theme that aims to advance physical activity, creativity and fun in a social framework.

This outdoor Park has a 300m Running Track and state of the art play equipment including colourful play surfaces with embedded games. A performable musical fence encloses the area will stir children to participate. Performers will be inspired by an atmosphere, that brings people, games and events together in active and creative play.

The park provides a platform for challenges and events that can be channelled through schools, library and community organizations. Play apparatus, the world's largest musical instrument and visually inspiring 300m running track and play surfaces will be the lungs of the community.

The park incorporates sculptures and customised products from manufacturers that will co-ordinate colour, shape and design to produce benefits of physical activity, imaginative play, multi-sensory experiences, educational elements, lateral thinking, building social skills and community connections

Features:

300m Musical Fence.Tapping the metal bars with an implement can produce sounds, while standing or running beside the structure. The bars vary in length and produce either linear music or individual sounds. Participants can perform music with twigs and found objects to produce tones against the fence bars, either playing solo or in groups. Made from galvanized steel with a curved design that provides a safe barrier for young children along the waterside setting.

300m Running Track, consultation with England Athletics, includes symbols and games.

Making Impressions is a pushpin sculpture that encourages people to impress faces or found objects.

Play Equipment : Climbing, swinging, pulling and balancing Frames. Merry Go Round. Bounce Net Trampoline. Tug of War Rope. Slide. Curved Benches and Resting Area. Curved Bicycle Stands.

Play Surfaces made with recycled material are embedded with game elements, musical notes and flags of the world. The child safe design will be durable/low maintenance and incorporates re-cycled materials. Trees and large grass areas will absorb rainwater and flooding. This is a permanent installation at Beccles, Marina, Suffolk, which is part of the Broads Waterway on the boundary of Norfolk.

The Broads Authority, the landowners, keenly agree with the proposal, and Broads' environmental considerations are incorporated into the design. Local artisans will be used in the construction. The concept is transferable, Waveney District Council are enthusiastic this Visitor Destination takes shape in the Region.
